It was Blue's, now it's Gold's, this is where our story unfolds
Two young heroes emerge who know where the treasure lies
In the softball field's home plate, now we just cannot wait

(To start the) Quest for the Blue Kazoo
We'll steal it back from Gold, saying "doo doolidoo doo"
Our journey's in the name of Camp Blue
Cuz then it'll be our Blue Kazoo

Well, we hiked along the road that passed the Vista Lodge
Big trucks and Chryslers we had to dodge
'Til we found Koll field with the padded trees
We crept on hands and knees
'Til we finally saw it, the Blue Kazoo
Underneath Home Plate, now what the heck do we do?
At the next home run we made a desperate dash
Lifted up the plate and grabbed it fast

We got our Blue Kazoo
We stole it back from Gold, saying "doot doolidooli doo"
Our quest was in the name of Camp Blue
And now it is our Blue Kazoo

Well, we got the Blue Kazoo, then headed back
To Camp Blue, but we got attacked
By the softball players and their bats
And mitts and kids and relatives
We got the whole Camp Gold chasin' us on our heels
As we scampered back through those grassy fields
But when we reached the honk sign, they revealed
That fifty more blocked our path, we said
Help, I need somebody
Help, not just anybody
Help, we really need someone named Chuck Norris!

Chuck Norris drove up in his bulldozer
Pushed away all those Gold campers
While his flying bear took us back to Camp Blue

(That was our) Quest for the Blue Kazoo
We got help from Chuck Norris! and his flying bear too
Our journey was in the name of Camp Blue
And now, once again, it's our Blue Kazoo
